Projects to Fund

1. Funding a Large Network of Farmers in Regenerative Agriculture

TIP-MGDRC is dedicated to transforming agriculture in Nepal by training and supporting a growing network of Indigenous farmers in regenerative agriculture. Our mission is to train as many farmers as possible, equipping them with the knowledge, resources, and support to build financially independent, sustainable farms that regenerate the land, ensure food security, and create stable incomes.

Unlike conventional training programs, our approach is fully immersive. We do not just train farmers and leave—we work alongside them daily for two years, guiding them step by step through the transition to regenerative agriculture. Our experts ensure that every farmer applies their knowledge directly in their fields, mastering techniques while developing their farms into self-sustaining businesses. This hands-on mentorship is reinforced by access to seeds, modern equipment, and market integration support, ensuring long-term success.

This initiative is scalable—with more funding, we can expand our network and impact. We invite governments, institutions, and impact investors to support this large-scale transition, contributing to a regenerative agricultural system in Nepal that blends economic empowerment with environmental restoration.

2. Additional Projects Supporting Our Mission

🏛 Regenerative Agriculture Innovation Hub

We are developing a Regenerative Agriculture Innovation Hub, a center dedicated to fostering knowledge-sharing, training, and research. The hub will serve as:

  • A training center for farmers, researchers, and policymakers.
  • A conference venue to host national and international events on regenerative agriculture.
  • A 20-room lodging facility for trainees, experts, and volunteers.
  • A research and innovation space to test and refine regenerative farming practices.
  • A farm-to-table restaurant offering sustainable, locally grown food to guests and the community.

🌾 Indigenous Seed Sovereignty & Large-Scale Seed Bank

Seed sovereignty is fundamental to food security and farmer independence. This initiative focuses on:

  • Expanding heirloom seed collection, preservation, and distribution.
  • Building storage facilities to ensure long-term conservation.
  • Supporting farmer-led seed exchanges to maintain biodiversity.

💡 Rural Solar Energy for Sustainable Agriculture

Access to clean energy is essential for increasing productivity and reducing costs in farming. This project funds:

  • Solar-powered irrigation pumps to ensure water availability year-round.
  • Cold storage solutions to reduce post-harvest losses and extend marketability.
  • Renewable energy infrastructure to support farm operations sustainably.

📢 Advocacy & Indigenous Land Rights Fund

To secure long-term sustainability, Indigenous farmers need protection and support. This fund focuses on:

  • Legal assistance to defend Indigenous land ownership rights.
  • Policy lobbying to secure fair agricultural incentives.
